The Civic Museum of Nepi opens a new season of cultural initiatives.
On Saturday, January 31 at 4:30 p.m., the Noble Hall of the Town Hall will host the presentation of the volume “Research in Southern Etruria. Study Day in Memory of Giorgio Felini.”
Edited by Stefano Francocci, the book brings together scholarly contributions and papers presented during the study day held on March 23, 2024, organized to commemorate Giorgio Felini, an art historian from Gallese who passed away prematurely in 2022.
The event brought together numerous scholars and researchers who had shared academic experiences and collaborations with Felini over the years:
Andrea Alessi, Paola Berardi, Claudio Canonici, Luisa Caporossi, Gioia Chilini, Maria Anna De Lucia Brolli, Elena Foddai, Stefano Francocci, Riccardo La Farina, Fulvio Ricci, Giuseppe Romagnoli, Daniele Soldatelli.
Published by Archeoares, the volume combines personal recollections with scholarly articles exploring the Tuscia area from both chronological and geographical perspectives, presenting original research findings in the fields of archaeology and art history.
The publication was made possible thanks to the support of the Municipality of Nepi and the Carivit Foundation.
