From September 12 to 15, 2024, Nepi will host the first edition of the International Harmony Festival – Claudio Giglietti, a musical showcase that promises to fill the evenings with captivating melodies in some of the town’s most enchanting locations, such as the Borgia Fortress, the Church of San Pietro, and the L’Acquedotto Cultural Center.
This festival is not just a celebration of music but a heartfelt tribute to Claudio Giglietti, a native of Nepi, whose exceptional skill in repairing musical instruments earned him international recognition. His sudden and untimely passing left a void not only in the Nepi community but also in the musical world, where he was renowned and admired for his craftsmanship and passion.
The Harmony Festival was created to honor Claudio, his artistry, and his generous spirit, which lives on through the music he loved and the instruments he touched. The word “Harmony” symbolizes the aspiration to weave together memories, emotions, and passions, just as Claudio seamlessly united technique and sensitivity in his work.
