Summer returns to Nepi with NepiEstate 2026, a rich calendar of events organized by the Pro Loco Nepi APS in collaboration with the Municipal Administration. Following the celebrations of the 30th anniversary of the Palio dei Borgia, the magnificent Rocca dei Borgia once again becomes the heart of the town’s summer season, hosting more than a month of events dedicated to culture, music, theatre and entertainment.
The 2026 edition offers a diverse programme designed to appeal to visitors of all ages, featuring theatre performances, concerts, family-friendly events, folk music, cultural initiatives and activities promoting social inclusion. It is a celebration of culture in all its forms, from artistic heritage and classical music to popular traditions, contemporary theatre and community events.

June 23 – Frate Francesco – 800 anni di una grande avventura
The opening evening is dedicated to Saint Francis of Assisi, exploring the artistic representation of his stigmata, 800 years after his death.
June 25 – Il buio e il tempo – Non vedo l’ora
The first event of the L’Altro Lato della Luna festival, featuring a unique performance in complete darkness that combines humour, memories and reflections on visual impairment.
June 26 – I Care – L’odissea della cura
A theatrical performance focusing on the values of care, listening and human relationships, presented by the Comunità di Capodarco dell’Umbria together with Artecheinclude.
June 27 – Brancaleone a Nepi: il ritorno
The GEA Theatre Company presents the final performance of its annual theatre workshop involving sixteen young participants and a team of dedicated professionals.
June 28 – Dall’Altra ParteDellaLuna – Bassvoice Project
Part of the Tuscia in Jazz for SLA initiative, this concert pays tribute to Lucio Dalla while supporting research into ALS through music and solidarity.
July 7 – Sicily Folk Orchestra
The Nepi Folk al Forte festival begins with an evening celebrating the sounds and traditions of Sicilian folk music.
July 9 – ORESTE CASTAGNA di Rai YoYo in “Storie di Pace”
Beloved Rai YoYo presenter Oreste Castagna, together with Mago Tornado, invites children and families on a theatrical journey filled with imagination, participation and messages of peace.
July 15 – 5^ Edizione Ispirazione Donna
An event promoted by the Department for Equal Opportunities, celebrating women, their achievements and their role within the community.
July 16 – EUGENIO BENNATO – BRIGANTI DEL PRESENTE Tour 2026
One of the highlights of the summer programme, featuring Eugenio Bennato in a concert celebrating Southern Italian folk music and Mediterranean culture.
July 17 – Presentazione NEPI EXPRESS 2026
The Youth Council officially presents the third edition of NEPI EXPRESS.
July 18 – Tutto in una notte
Nepi’s historic centre comes alive with live music, entertainment and a lively street food festival.
July 21 – Spettacolo Teatrale “Tutti gli amori portano a Roma”
Actors Marco Capretti and Beba Albanesi bring to the stage a witty and entertaining performance exploring the many love stories of Rome.
July 22 – L’Associazione Culturale “La Terzina” presenta “Barocco in Europa”
A fascinating musical and historical journey through the European countries whose Baroque traditions helped shape a shared cultural identity.
July 24 – Quando Molière va al mare – Metateatro e metà no
A humorous and engaging theatrical performance exploring the concept of theatre within theatre through comedy and creativity.
July 25 – Spettacolo Teatrale “L’antro di Borea”
A mystery play where what begins as an innocent murder mystery weekend quickly turns into a real crime investigation.
July 28 – Maria Mazzotta
The Nepi Folk al Forte festival continues with the extraordinary voice of Maria Mazzotta, one of Italy’s most acclaimed world music performers.
July 30 – I Suognatori
Another evening dedicated to live folk music, bringing traditional sounds and engaging performances to the Rocca dei Borgia.
August 5 – Orchestra Stralunata
The closing event of the Nepi Folk al Forte festival, featuring an original and captivating musical performance.
